Bajoran Wormhole

The U.S.S. Pandora is a sovreign-class Starship, recently modified to withstand pronlonged battle in the ongoing war with the Dominion and Cardassian Empire, commanded by the decorated General Ana Quinn and the First-Officer, Commander Ben Redmund Walsh. The main objectives of the Pandora are as listed.

Primary Objectives:

To regularly patrol the DMZ (demiliterized zone) and initiate probe sensor sweeps for Dominion, Cardassian, or Orion ships, as well as any anomalies signaling to a possible attack, sabotage, infiltration, or overall violation of the Federation and Bajoran Wormhole's safety. If scans indicate infractions of any kind, orders are to engage any visible ships, scan for cloaked vessles or probes, and destroy them. Refusal to do so may risk a court-martial and/or potential investigation into terrorist activity and endangernment of Federation and Bajoran citizens.

When not on the frontlines or patrolling the DMZ and enemy borders, like any other sovreign-class vessel, the Pandora carries out diplomatic missions such as mediation in interplanetary affairs and meet-points for ambassadors and senators. This may include meetings with Romulan or Klingon* representatives for the discussion of wartime matters.

When called upon by distressed systems within the Alpha Quadrant -be it natural disasters or civil disputes-the Pandoras crew lends a hand where necissary. They are at times tasked with the deployment of humanitarian aid after large-scale confrontations with enemy ships, transportation of medicine and medical equipment to temporary hospital facilities near the front-lines, and answering any unexpected distress calls from Starfleet or neutral vessles. Do not assist Vorta, Jem'Hadar, Cardassian, or Orion ships. To do so may risk a court-martial and/or potential investigation into terrorist activity and endangernment of Federation and Bajoran citizens.
